My son finished his K-12 in Brooktree, Morrill and Independence. After Independence he got his Bio B.S. degree in UCSD and attended med school. He is now a physician. If I didn't remember wrong, there were two kids in his Brooktree class obtained med doctor degree and another kid got a PHD degree as
Posted by a parent on 5/6/2025This school is full of violence, homophobic and racist slurs, and generally abhorrent behavior among the students every single day. The principal did absolutely nothing to deal with this - students were never sent home, much less suspended for their actions. If we teachers tried to handle the issues

I do see some variance in quality of teacher when it comes to english as a spoken language but they are all well trained and with the standardization of curriculum, all kids receive a consistently good experience. They always focus on overall development with strong emphasis on Art and Music along with academics.I do wish the quality of PT was better.Parent Review2y ago
