St. Rita's School

I was able to get my son into this school via the Choice Program (we are out of district in National District) and I am more than pleased with my experience. My son went to an exceptional preschool ran by San Diego State, and the transition to regular school was definitely nerve wracking. My son was lucky enough to have Mr. Parker as his first teacher and he is exceptional. He is very honest about your child and their progress, leads his classroom with respect, and communicates promptly on Class Dojo about any questions and concerns. The school does an excellent job of sending announcements via class Dojo, and the ladies in the office are super helpful. The homework load is more than I would have expected for Kindergarten, but my son is able to complete most of it at Primetime, and I believe it’s allowed him to excel in reading, writing and math. Drop off can be a bit chaotic as there is only one stretch of curb for parents to drop off, and it results in a lot of double parking and being blocked in, but if you arrive early, or are simply letting your kid out of the car it can be navigated. I just found out my daughter got in for TK and I couldn’t be more happy.

Mi hijo va a 2do grado y estoy muy feliz con esta escuela. Mi hijo está emocionado de estar allí, hacer amigos y divertirse. Han hecho un gran trabajo al hacer que la escuela sea divertida y motivar a mi hijo a querer ir todos los días. El único inconveniente es que no hay suficientes maestros bilingües, por lo que me resulta difícil conectarme con el maestro de mi hijo. pero me gusta la escuela

Great School very active teachers the ratio of Hispanic to other nationalities is very high so there's a learning Gap there rather it be the kids not very good with English or parents but overall the school is awesome very close-knit small everyone knows everyone and they try really hard to accommodate all the kids . New principal but she's amazing too. Good school in all .

My kid went to ofarrell charter school, and to say that the teachers treated my daughter horrible I mean what was she going to school for??!! The education is so poor she would tell me that only they would do it go through the lesson once and theirs no review?when I mean worst I mean WORST.please don’t take your kids here don’t be embarrassed, too

it's a very good school, both academically and professionally. I like how all the students follow the school rules. I recommend it it's a very good school. I'm happy with how my children have improved academically.
