This school is getting more disorganized and is not longer working in the children's best interest. It was better when my older child attended this preschool a few years ago. There is a high teacher turn around rate and the administration is no help if there's a problem. Your money is better spend elsewhere for a better education and socially nurturing environment.

This school focuses on worksheets and canned art projects. I expressed concern that my child needed extra help learning to make friends, and the teacher said he would figure it out on his own. I pulled him from the school when I discovered he was wandering aimlessly around the classroom all day and was not interacting with the other children. In hindsight there were a lot of red flags about his behavior, but the teacher and principal did not notice and alert us that there was an issue. The teacher said she would be able to "push him through" for kindergarten when we suggested waiting an extra year -- at this point she wasn't even able to get him to sit still to do a single worksheet. They claim to work well with kids who hear a different drummer, but in actuality are clueless about early childhood development.

My son has been going here for a couple of months now, and I love it! Everyday he's greeted w/ smiles, and every day I'm greeted w/ smiles when I pick him up. I especially like how they make it their mission to NOT put kids in the same 'box' in terms of how they teach & how they learn. They're not about 'sit down, be quiet & get in line;' but about helping each child grow, learn & express in their own way. I love his teacher & assistant teacher, and the principal- Ms. Nancy. I love that they do yoga (my son loves it too!), encourage kids to find answers (encouraging curiosity, and helping them to help themselves to find answers, and to look to others for help (i.e. it's okay to ask for help & drawn on the strengths of others). I just love how it FEELS there!
