We have been very happy at Alcott. Our children enjoy school and I am confident as a parent that my children are loved and educated here.
Posted by a parent on 2/21/2026I only have a year experience with the school but I absolutely love the staff here. My UTK child is excited everyday to go to school and learn. The PTA is fairly active and the parents have been friendly. Small school with a big heart.

The teachers have all shown how much they love their students and it's warming to my heart to know my kids are in the best hands when I am not with them. We did preschool during Covid times and teachers went above and beyond to keep my daughter interested in the online lessons. Posted by a parent on 7/6/2022I am in utter shock and sad that any parent would feel alienated by a school. My child danced through a school program at a sdsu football game & I had no clue. I have no clue about grades, homework, etc. Plus they dont call me back.

They are excited to go to school every day and bubbling over with knowledge they want to share when they come home. MBMA provides a challenging and engaging academic environment without the stress of similarly rigorous academic programs. The teachers are extremely passionate about what they do and bring the best out of their students. MBMA also provides extremely high-quality specialty classes (Art, Advanced Math, Chinese, Computer Science, Music, PE, Science, and Spanish) and extracurriculars, and arguably has the best Band Program of any elementary school in the area. Having come from another local private school, I never imagined my kids would beg to stay late and be upset if I picked them up 10 minutes early on a Friday.
