Posted by a parent on 1/14/2017I love the carnivals and ptc works very hard. I do not appreciate one of the kindergarten teacher principal and office staff is very rude. And unhelpful. Some of the staff there are sweet and kind. I was expecting a way better school than what it is. I took my child out due to lack of communication.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are looking for a Montessori experience this is NOT it. Run. Teachers are unqualified and lack any Montessori Training. The children are coloring all day and have very little direction with materials. My 2 year old daughter was there for 9 months and and learned the word "No". Teachers are very unprofessional (talk about other students in front of parents plus teachers also clearly have favorites) . We love that it is academically rigorous, but still a safe and nurturing environment. In our experience, teachers have gone above and beyond to provide unique and effective learning experiences for the students. We also have found the overall culture of the school to be welcoming and warm, with families really getting to know one another over the course of their time at St. Albans. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school seems like it would be a nice, good private school to send your kids to but it is not. although they do a good a job at teaching gospel, they are not good at teaching anything else if a student asks for help or says they don’t understand something they are told “you should’ve listened” or they’ll say they’re too busy to help, they don’t accommodate students with learning disabilities even students with a 504 plan, and the teachers make students feel bad for learning slower than other students. when i went there they put the wrong class on my schedule and when i went to change it they blamed me for it. in general this is just not a good school i would highly recommend NOT sending your kids here.Other Review3y ago
