St. Joseph's

We started this school and where a little nervous about the 5/10 score but so far it's been excellent. Our daughter started TK and I'm the summer leading up to the school year they had 2 in school meet the principal and school where they talked about TK and gave us tips answered questions and 5 zoom events where our kids got to experience some of the cool things that they would be doing and learning. They provide breakfast and lunch and my daughter comes home happy and is excited to go to school. Drop off has 2 lines and it can be a little chaotic but the teachers and assistants do their best. If you drop off in a car there is a line for smaller kids that get dropped off in the front and the bigger kids drop off towards the side. They provide us with extended learning that was free. So our kid gets to stay after school for a little later saving us a good amount of money. I will post again later in the year but so far I'm happy that we brought our daughter here.

The Principal (Ms. Mondt) set the tone at school. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, honest and extreme supportive of the children and staff at the same time. You breathe a positive energy the moment you set foot on the campus.Teachers are caring and work as a team to address the child’s needs.Ms. Mondt is very approachable and (if you are a parent) she will work with you with a mutual respect.She is the best Principal in Alvord USD and that is why Lake Hills is the best school in the district.JR.

The school is located in a safe neighborhood. We appreciate that it is surrounded by homes where everyone looks out for the children. Many parents are involved, and the kids are provided with a lot of supplies. The staff are proactive about issues. Our daughter had a great experience going to Harrison.

Lake Mathews is a great school.they have great teachers and have a amazing principle. I have one child going to six grade their and one is in hight school. I'm very happy that my children went to such and amazing school. Submitted by a parent

Overall I've had a great experience in this school. Academics are greay and I can tell a difference between my child's learning and kids from other schools. Family is important to them and it shows by the community they have built. Overall good if youre looking for a christ centered education with teachers that care about your children's progress.
