Love this school! The staff are so committed to the children. I especially love the outdoor education opportunities. They have an excellent art and music program. They provide free lunches and transportation to all students and have a great after school program
Posted by a parent on 10/14/2022Terrible. The principal puts on a nice song & dance about what the school promotes but when there is an actual bullying issue or racism issue or troublemaking student, the principal does nothing more than make excuses and hide until the dust settles.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've got one child at Quincy-Pioneer Elementary and one at Plumas Charter School. The Charter School is not for every kid...but it's a great fit our child that is currently there. Yes, the parent(s) needs to be more involved in the independent study program for it to be successful...but that's what we were expecting anyway! Lack of participation by the parent(s) will be evident in almost any student, regardless of what school they attend. I love the fact that we have options here in Quincy!!!Parent Review12y ago
