Read what parents are saying about Walnut Grove Elementary SchoolIt was one of the best schools I went to. There are always fun activities and the teachers are very nice. But there are bullies that say not very nice things and push others around. There aren't any bullies for the younger students though. The teachers are really nice. Whenever I had problems are was bullied they were supportive. Would Recommend.
Posted by a community member on 8/28/2023We moved here 4 years ago and loved WG however over the past 4 years the climate has changed (along with 3 principles). I would love to see updated stats and reviews on this school. We are moving from Pleasanton and CA mainly because of the change in the schools. We had many wonderful teachers and the office staff is fabulous!

Posted by a parent on 8/25/2014This school is fantastic. It has an active and engaged new principal that relates well to K-5 age children as well as parents. The principal is well-liked by the parents and positive and supportive. The parent community supports the school, and the teachers are enthusiastic. The office staff always seems to be friendly and engaged. Also, I haven't seen the impatience, raised voices and lack of respect towards teachers, students and parents that is happening at other elementary schools in Pleasanton.

My kid received inappropriate messages from a boy in their class via their school email account. These messages contained vulgar and explicit language that made us uncomfortable.As any concerned parent would, I immediately reported this incident to the school administration, hoping that they would take swift action to address the situation. However, to my surprise and dismay, the school management responded dismissively, suggesting this behavior was common among teenagers.I could not believe the school management was downplaying such a severe issue. The boy's language indicated that he had problems with some addiction, which should not be brushed off as typical teenage behavior. Furthermore, the fact that my child was only 12 years old and the boy had just turned 13 made the situation even more alarming.Parent Review1y ago - Montessori School of Pleasanton
