Community Reviews
We have had our children enrolled at Stewart School for two years now and have had a positive experience. We appreciate that Stewart is a small school with an active PTA and parent community. Despite budget cuts that have impacted the entire WCCUSD district, Stewart's leadership has remained communi

Posted by a parent on 9/26/2026Whew, where do I start?! Stewart School has so much potential. When they launched their Dual Immersion program I felt that it was a GREAT move so long as the school had the resources to go along with it. Fast forward years later, handfuls of students are ending up YEARS behind their peers academical
Posted by a parent on 10/25/2023Our son spent two disastrous years at this school's "Bilingual" program. He learned nothing, neither how to read or any semblance of a phonics approach to reading even though Spanish is a phonetic language. We decided to place him in an English only program only to find out that he was extremely low

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA Wonderful School ExperienceWe highly recommend St. Joseph School in Pinole! From the very beginning, they have been so welcoming and supportive of new families. They make sure you receive all the information you need to feel comfortable and prepared, which makes the transition so much easier. The support from the room parents has also been amazing. They are always helpful, friendly, and willing to answer questions or point you in the right direction. It truly feels like a welcoming community where families support one another. We are so grateful for the warm welcome and support we’ve received from St. Joseph School. It’s a wonderful community, and we would definitely recommend it to other families looking for a caring and welcoming school!Parent Review2mo ago - West County Mandarin School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat school all around. We have one kid there and a second will join this August. We do not speak mandarin as a family but our kid is really thriving. Everyone from the principal Dt. Peterson to the people helping are very nice and they genuinely care about the kids and their development. Parents are heavily involved in the school and the PTA runs various ancillary activities. Strongly suggested if you can get in.Parent Review6mo ago - La Casita Bilingue Montessori School
