The environment is like a warm hug—accepting of kids from different backgrounds and educational needs. What a true gem.

A school with a third of ESL students will not score the highest on tests. What it will do is teach your kids two languages, to embrace diversity and other cultures, and that test scores only matter to funding, not children. The culture here is inclusive and welcoming. Academically my daughter is supported, pushed, and thriving. I love that social emotional learning is part of the curriculum and since it’s a smaller school, the teachers and principal really know each student individually and work to support them where they are and then exceed that. Staff is wonderful kind people who create a very warm friendly atmosphere. They also have a really amazing buddy system to bring different grade levels together. They have free before and afterschool care. Upon our move we ran into a lot of difficulties trying to have my daughter signed up at her new school and a staff member in the office at Cinnabar helped us through email communicate with the new school back and forth to ensure that my daughter was able to be accepted into her new school.
