The special education department this year is doing a tremendous job and the kids feel very welcomed and happy to learn. The ELOP and other supporting programs from the district also help these in many ways. Happy to be here.
Posted by a parent on 4/19/2023As a parent, things I like about this school has been the low teacher/student ratio, involvement of parents in schools, emphasis on reading, buddy system with kindergarteners with older kids, etc. During the recent year they gave out ipads to students early on and gave options of distant learning vs

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth our kids attended Casa at Palo Alto (pre-primary through 1st grade - 4 years, pre-primary to pre-K/primary - 3 years) and developed early foundational skills from finger dexterity, numbers, letters, reading and arithmetic, to how to get along with a group of mixed age peers as well as how to be independent. The teachers welcome any guidance on how to best support the kids and also advocate back to parents about the needs of the kids based on their observations and deep experience.
