Ocean Shore Elementary School

Buri Buri is an excellent school. We have a child that has graduated from Buri and two who are currently in Buri. We have had fantastic teachers and the principal, Mr. Ramich, is very involved. They have always been supportive of all of our kids, especially one of our kids who needs more help. We are happy to be part of the Buri Buri community.

Junipero Serra is a great school community that extends beyond the classroom. This school includes the parents, dedicated staff and culture of encouragement and inclusivity. There are many fun and educational events like family nights, fairs and volunteer opportunities that strengthen connection among students, families and educators. I have had the honor and privilege of having my children attend this school. With my last child at Junipero Serra, I can say with confidence that he feels supported academically and emotionally. Because of Junipero Serra, my children have developed confidence and love for learning that will stay with them beyond their school years.

I've had the privilege of teaching at FDR for the past 9 years and have experienced it undergo many positive changes since starting here. One of the most significant has been having Ms. Duffy, our school principal, join us 2 years ago. Ms. Duffy has been a wonderful addition to our school family. She leads the campus with kindness and intention while tangibly supporting students, staff, and families to help them be their best. Ms. Duffy has a strong sense of integrity and follow through and works hard to help students feel known. The students, families, and PTA at FDR are supportive, warm, and hard-working. I've learned a lot from FDR's many veteran teachers, as well as its newer teachers who offer fresh perspectives and enthusiasm. FDR is a very special, tight knit school and a real gem in the community. Over the course of my 18 year career in education, FDR has been my favorite school to work at!

TECA is a wonderful school with a great community feel. We are so lucky to be a part of it. My kids love the school and have grown both academically and socially with deep Spanish language abilities. I highly recommend it!

Worst experience a parent could imagine.. it's supposed tobe about the children... something is off... I feel bad for all the boys I see sitting in the office crying.. alot of lost time they should of been focusing on their schooling.. not being interrogated for a report... gave my son a police record at 8 years of age on false accusations... took my wife's motherhood away on a power trip.. things need to change now... for the love of the children... THEY DESERVE BETTER... !!
