Posted by a parent on 8/31/2017First I would like to acknowledge that their are some awesome teachers in the upper grades. Now the office staff, including the principal are often rude and use inappropriate dialogue in the office. The school grounds show the lack of pride by the staff. The school has handed out 700+ Ipads, but cannot or will not at least clean and address the entry way. The best teaching takes place by example, sad to say this is clearly missed at Marina West.
Posted by a parent on 12/10/2014Obviously the 5 star ratings given were provided by the same person, the style and grammar in the last two is identical, especially the last two rating. I would bet this individual is a faculty member and did this to ensure the school wasn't at the bottom, which it appears they are.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are a military family and feel so fortunate that we found this school. We have loved our time at St. Anthony's, our only regret is having to leave. St. Anthony's was our children's first experience in a structured academic environment and they loved it, always looking forward to returning following a break or vacation. We saw tremendous growth in our girls, academically, emotionally and socially. Each week beyond their classroom studies, they attended library, PE and gardening. Our girls came home echoing not only academic and religious teachings but lessons in inclusion, empathy, taking care of our world and the importance of watching out for your friends. These are values we have tried to impress in our home and it was so nice to have them reinforced at school. The communication from administrators to our beloved teacher Mrs. Miranda was consistent, transparent and informative. Dn. Henry made himself available to us anytime we asked and provided measured and valuable guidance. I can't say enough how much we liked it here and how prepared we feel our daughters are for their next school.Parent Review1y ago
