Yew Chung International School is a bilingual Chinese-English preschool that I highly recommend. The staff are warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about creating a caring environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.What I appreciate most is how naturally the children are immersed in both Chinese and English throughout the day. Whether through music, storytelling, games, or hands-on activities, they absorb both languages in a fun and engaging way. It’s incredible to hear them using both languages with such confidence.The play-based learning approach has been ideal. It gives children the freedom to explore, be creative, and learn through real-life experiences, rather than only structured lessons. This has really helped them become more confident, social, and curious about the world around them.The classrooms are safe, clean, and thoughtfully designed to support learning and discovery. I also appreciate how well the school communicates with parents—primarily through the Seesaw app, which provides us with regular updates and offers an extraordinary glimpse into our child’s daily activities.If you're looking for a preschool that truly embraces bilingual education and play-based learning, YCIS is an outstanding choice.
