I love my school and i think that all of the teachers are very nice

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Orcahard Owl's Elementary! The teachers are truly outstan ding - caring, passionate, and incredibly dedicated to their students. They go above and beyond to make learning engaging and accessible for every child. My child comes home excited to share what they’ve learned each day, which speaks volumes about the quality of teaching here.The classrooms are bright, clean, and well-organized, creating a welcoming environment that encourages creativity and focus. Student engagement is clearly a top priority, and it shows in the way kids are encouraged to participate, explore, and grow both academically and socially.The office staff is also fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always professional. They handle everything smoothly and are great communicators whenever we have questions or concerns.If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the drive-thru pickup and drop-off line - it could be a bit better organized during peak times. That said, it's a minor inconvenience compared to the overwhelmingly positive experience we've had.We’re truly grateful to be part of this school community and highly recommend it to any family looking for a supportive, high-quality educational environment!

This school is not safe for Colored or special needs kids most teachers are not good only a few also the bully problem is a issue and always has been the different between how boys get in trouble compared to girls the yard Duties are not good and have little or to much power and will yell at students for talking at lunch this is not a overall good school

Beware!!!! Unpleasant experience with administrators. I spoke with Mary, the principal regarding the bullying that occurs in her school. Be very mindful of her behavior. As a principal, consistently being a role model for children, her conduct is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Not only is she unwilling to help, but she lacks in empathy and urgency. She consistently spoke over us, disregarded our concerns, and hung up the phone call when the conversation escalated. Definitely not what I would expect from someone with a position of authority. Unsure if she is overwhelmed with the tasks on her plate, but after speaking with others parents I have reason to believe this is a consistent thing. I am awaiting a call back from the district to address this (March 2025) and have began the process of filing a complaint. I am extremely concerned about the type of role models the children of Mary Anne Sanders are exposed to, and I am very disappointed.In addition, during our exchange, Mary Smyth made a remark and I quote “well this is a public school”. I am unsure what this means, as public or private school does not determine the level of care or education a child receives. Every child is entitled to a safe environment to learn and respect from his or her peers. Major red flags all around. Not sure who employs these people from the district but they are incompetent to say the least. Overall, poor professionalism and inability to handle conflict on her behalf. I would think twice about trusting my children with these people!
