Strathern Street Elementary School

This school has horrible communication with parents and they need to work and focus on education rather than receiving funding for other unneeded agendas! Academically has horrible state scores! Would not recommend this school at all

I Love this school but I hard time with some of the staff and teachers

This school does not offer any help towards their students. If one student starts a fight they will scream at both students and get the victim in trouble. The principal and vice principal are very hostile towards the students, parents, and adults.

Our daughter started in the dual immersion program in kindergarten. She had a wonderful teacher, Ms. Sisco, and her test scores were top of class in both languages. She is now in the 1st grade and has already hit her markers in reading and math for 1st grade. So far she’s doing great. Ms, Braley is a wonderful principal who really cares about her students. The school encourages parents to be actively involved in school activities and the kids seem to love learning and going to school. I don’t know what things were like a few years ago, but we love Coldwater Canyon.

I have a daughter (2nd grade) and a son (pre-K) in this school, and so far, I’ve had no problems. In fact, the teachers are very responsive when I notify them, and so far the teachers my children have had have been wonderful. One of my children has a learning disability and they are giving her the resources to keep moving forward with her learning. The new principal is very engaging and has brought in new ideas to improve attendance and the drop off situation. It’s definitely improving.
