St. Mark School

We’ve been part of Walgrove Elementary for 10 years now, with both of our daughters starting in the TK program - six years apart. From the very beginning, this school has been a great experience for our family.What we love most is the strong sense of community. Families, teachers, and staff work together in such a supportive way that you feel connected and involved. Both of our children have thrived here not only academically, but also socially and emotionally.The teachers are dedicated, caring, and truly invested in their students’ success. They go above and beyond to meet kids where they are and to inspire a love of learning. The administration has also been fantastic - approachable, responsive, and always focused on what’s best for the students.After a decade here, we can confidently say that this school is truly special. We’re so grateful to have had such a positive experience, and we couldn’t imagine a better place for our daughters to grow and learn.

As a former student here at Will Rogers, I greatly recommend it. All of the staff are absolutely amazing and create everlasting bonds. I trust them with my life. There are various teaching methods so that they can use the one you are most successful with. They have different programs that your child can join such as the Student Council and Peacemakers. They have special needs classes and teachers, in-school therapists, and many other classes such as dance, art, STEM, and Spanish class. Don't listen to any other reviews except this one. PUT YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL. You wont regret it!

This school has a no homework policy. Sounds great at first when children are in the lower grades. As they get older they are not working that muscle and have trouble keeping up when they move on to other schools. Teachers allow kids to use calculators and computers for spell check. This is a disservice to kids as they wont be able to use calculators or computer spell checks for college entrance exams. They offer project based learning which is great for social skills, but the academics are not on par with other schools.

They dress code students if they have had past trouble with them teachers have cursed students out and layed hands on students The counsler provides zero help towards the students mental health she pulls them out to eat and draw pictures. This school sucks dont come here

We love our CDA community. My daughter has the right support to thrive and she adores all the staff, teachers and friends.
