My wife is a teacher at this school and she works tirelessly for her kids. She and her coworkers go above and beyond for the children at this school and i see it firsthand everytime.

Although LAUSD has received a great deal of "bad press", 6th Ave. is a great school to work and be at, just ask the students and teachers. Like any organization, there are a few bad apples that give the school a bad name. Keep an eye on this school

She is now 4 and starting Pre- K and I feel as though I could have not picked a better place for her. The environment is encouraging and loving. They offer the best of both worlds an excellent education and real world knowledge that is age appropriate and tailored for their young minds. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Holy Name of Jesus before graduating and attending Loyola High School in Los Angeles. I felt prepared for the transition from elementary school to high school and was able to keep my grades up while playing sports and participating in many extra curricular activities. The school has done nothing but improve since I graduated by adding computers in each classroom that students use for Math and English computer programs.
