Newcastle is a good school but they need to start teaching more. I am current a student and I love it here.
Posted by a community member on 6/7/2023It is a good school. They do have a new principal which is on top of everything. I had an issue with my daughter. The teacher set up a zoom meeting with the principal. We got some how in an agreement and days later I ask my daughter if the problem was solved and she say yes.

Posted by a parent on 10/23/2019My two kids have come to this school from kindergarten and is a great school with helpful teachers this year had mr.sanchez and mrs.alpert who both care for their students and are great teachers my kids learned so much this year.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average4/5 is the best I do. I don't hold with social media idea about raves and foaming-at-the-mouth (forced) enthusiasm. I prefer sincere, honest feedback. That having been said, I can honestly say that the support from teachers and staff at Valley Waldorf is excellent. Community cohesion is good, too. I was amazed that there was a place in the city in which kids were encouraged to be kids - play and run and climb. My son has gone to several schools, many of them claiming to be Montessori schools that really weren't, and hated them. We came to Valley Waldorf after going through the cheaper options but stayed. Notably, my son said he likes this school and he wants to go.Parent Review1y ago
