Mt. Washington Elementary School

This has been the absolute worst experience we’ve had with a school. The principal lacks honesty and leadership skills, and there is no consequence for staff behavior regardless of how it impacts students. This school would benefit greatly from stronger, more effective leadership. The current environment is disappointing and, sadly harmful to students. I understand funding, qualified staff and pay for public school workers is challenging but it's still no excuse for a lack of transparency and a respect for all students. Overall, I would NEVER recommend this school. Very glad to move on!

St. Bernard staff and teachers truly care about all of the students. They work very hard and put in extra hours to help the children with tutoring and have great communication with all parents. It is a private school and you are required to volunteer. But you make great lifelong friends with families and students. Great way to know your community! St. Bernard is one of the few schools with a reasonable tuition and yes donations are asked for but not mandatory. But as a parent I love to see families involved because we want the best for our children and our school.
