This school has TK-8 grade and has a very strong academic curriculum. The school is a catholic school and also implements religion into the courses the children learn. I have had children in the LAUSD system as well, and hands down recommend Christ the King school to any and all parents. It offers an amazing teaching community for the students and a strong community for families overall. In addition to academics, you can expect strong athletic programming. The school offers flag football, volleyball, basketball, and track and field from grades 3+. Soccer is offered for grades 7-8. They have a choir program, Drama club, Stage crew, music and dance classes as well. This school is the most affordable school in its area, and financial aid is available. Our daughter went there from Junior Kindergarten and graduated from 7th grade and we couldn’t have been happier – the teachers are fantastic and really take the time to form bonds with the students beyond class hours, they are creative in their teaching and the projects make them excited to learn. Another thing great about HSH are all the traditions both for students and families.
