Posted by a parent on 3/12/2024My son went to Franklin last year as a Kindergartener and enjoyed school and learned more than I thought possible. The parents are involved in fundraising and decision making. Diversity is celebrated. It's a kind and safe environment for learning. We are very lucky for it to be our home school.

The don't actually have an SAS program so I'm not sure why its listed. They play favorites with parents they like and ignore others. Honestly, with so many other great
Posted by a parent on 8/7/2022This school has one of the worst principles! She is horrible! She screams at kids, belittles them in front of their classmates. My daughter has come home crying due to this horrible principle. Let LAUSD HR dept if you have similar experience/

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest daughter absolutely LOVES this school. She was bored at the previous school and now I've seen her confidence grow. I think it's such a wonderful place for kids to really express themselves and be heard. The other day she told me she didn't want to be late and miss anything. She said, and I quote her "I love to work on my book!" I think it's awesome that they keep her interested and intrigued. And the teachers keep you in the loop for everything! I never feel like I don't know what's going on. Sometimes I ask myself "Who is this little smarty pant 5 year old?"
