While the school does emphasize memorization of lessons, it lacks a focus on actual learning that sticks with the kids. This approach left me concerned about the depth of understanding my child was gaining from their education. This school program uses an Abeka learning system K-12 grade ONLY! I encourage all parents to Google Abeka and look at reviews, Youtube reviews. One thing that everyone says is A LOT of work and little room for flexibility. One positive aspect of the school is its diverse student population, which initially attracted many parents. However, upon closer inspection, it became evident that the curriculum and reading materials lack diversity in terms of characters and authors. Cultural celebrations are limited to just one day per year, which raises questions about the school's commitment to embracing and honoring different cultures year round. The school's lack of resources to support children with learning disabilities is disheartening. When seeking assistance for my child's specific needs, I was told that the school's limited size prevented them from providing the necessary resources. This left my child feeling neglected and pushed aside, as if they didn't matter to the school beyond its desire to maintain positive statistics. Even in a teacher parent meeting the Principle said this was not a school for Neurodivergent kids. One significant drawback of the school is its focus on conformity rather than fostering leadership skills. The emphasis on obedience and a fixed mentality restricts children from developing their own independent thinking and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, the overwhelming workload given to students leaves little time for extracurricular activities and simply being children. Even during spring break, the expectation of completing homework was imposed on the students.

This school only cares about their own. If you are not apart of their church or their staff, then you are not worth it to them. The teachers they hire are not capable to teach your children. The teachers will often leave after only a few years of teaching. The teachers only stay because their degrees are useless anywhere else. The dress code is not fair, the teachers are allowed to wear “sexy” attire (skirts way above the knee and fitted.) If your daughters skirt is above the knee they will have a talk with a school administrator. If your daughter is not the favorite the teachers will hand out demerits like it’s candy especially for short skirts or not wearing the correct sweater. (Demerits are marks against misconduct or deficiency.)Little kids (children under the age of 10) have so much homework that they don’t have time to be kids. Even during the breaks they have so much work to complete. These kids are tired after a day of school and do not need a pile of homework to do once they get home. Kids need to be able to be kids and play more.

I have been a parent at this school for 5 years now and have watched it go downhill. A few years ago I would have given this school 5 stars but the deterioration of the quality of the education & community is too great. The school focuses on the kids memorizing the lessons rather than actually learning. The school is very diverse, that is how they get a lot of parents in. Once you attend the school you will notice the books they read are not diverse characters or authors. They only celebrate different cultures one day a year. If you have a learning disability they will literally tell you they are a small school and don't have any resources to help your child. As an end result your child gets pushed to the side (sometimes out) because they are not the ideal student to make their numbers look good. If your child has a learning disability or has ADHD, ADD, or Austim don't take them to this school. The teachers are very strict. The student class size for 3rd grade was 30 students this year, and only one teacher per class. That is the size of a public school. Only 27% of the teachers have an advanced degree. The school teaches kids to follow and obey. They don't teach the children how to be leaders. The school teaches the kids to have a fixed mentally. This school gives the kids so much work that they will barely have time for outside activities to be kids. My kids were literally like robots; obey, memorize, do the work, and repeat everyday. Even on spring break they require the kids to do some type of homework. I would recommend you look at other schools that actually celebrate and embrace different cultures. A different school that makes sure the kids mental health is a top priority, and they can provide multiple resources to help your child succeed instead of pushing them out. This school does not have a parent involvement community because the school does not want the parents completely involved. The school is small fixed minded and doesn't want their traditions to change. Again, I recommend you Look at other schools....this will save you and your child therapy sessions later on.

Faith Baptist School is one of the best, if not the best school out there. They’re not teaching CRT, they’re not confusing children on gender, they’re not promoting “Drag Queen Story Hour”, they’re not teaching children how to have sex, they haven’t removed God / Jesus from their curriculum. If you want your children to learn any of that, put them in public school and let the government ruin their lives!

I have to start out by saying Faith Baptist has an excellent academic program. My son has always been advanced, so he excelled with the rigorous and fast paced learning environment. That being said, the lower elementary principal is THE ABSOLUTE WORST. My son started at FB in pre k and he has ADHD and had some issues settling into a school environment from regular daycare. His teacher recommended I speak with the principal. During that meeting he told me my sons behavior wasn’t “normal” compared to other kids his age. Then went on to compare my son to a dog. His exact words were “disciplining a child is the same as training a dog. If they don’t submit and obey, you pull the leash tighter.” I was absolutely appalled. After that he told me I should go to their parenting classes because “I would feel like a better mother.” I wanted to pull my son out immediately, but it was the middle of the year, then Covid hit so I was stuck for a while. I decided to keep him there for 1st grade after Covid, and he did well so against my better judgement he returned again for 2nd grade. After another incident with the same principal, I’ve had enough and I have learned my lesson. This so called “Christian” school is the biggest joke.
