Bridge Street Elementary School

If I am being honest don't send your kids to this school, it is utterly a mess, everything is just for money. The teachers aren't patient and those who were left to better places. I can say this because I experienced it as a former student. The school makes it unfair for those who financially un-stable. If you are looking for a school with joy, non-bullying, non- attitude teachers, strict but makes it fun, non- charging everything, don't go here or send your child here. They want things that only contribute themselves. Just until a couple of months ago they " Remodeled," the school, when I mean remodeled I mean paint over the walls and water fountains and the bathrooms have been there since 2006. The staff don't put any effort and are not patient, the only hard working person is the lady in the office. My family even have experienced many things there, and wouldn't go back. The school and community change your child and the teachers make it very hard and never really go through a explanation until they understand they just go over briefly and don't even care to ask if they understand it now.. Don't forget those students usually 6-8 are very disrespectful towards the teachers. I thank those who were actually making things fun there but overall I don't and would never go back there at least not with those teachers. I forgot to mention there are unlicensed "Helpers," there too! Anyways have a great day and I suggest you move on! :)

Two years ago, when my older child started at Nishi, I was nervous, since he was a covid baby who hadn't attended any outside daycare or childcare previously. But Ms. Susan, Ms. Maria, Ms. Gaby, and the whole team are so loving, that my fears melted away immediately. They made my son know that he belonged, and that they looked forward to seeing him every day.The teachers really get to know the kids, their strengths and needs, and develop an individual plan for each one to help them grow intellectually and personally. Each year, they complete an academic and social-emotional evaluation for each child, and it's amazing to see how much personal detail goes into the daily activities.The Nishi Center isn't just a school, it's a real community, both for the kids and the parents. Some of my son's classmates have parents who went to Nishi when they were kids thirty years ago, and they drive across town to give their kids the same great experience.My younger child just started at Nishi, and I'm so glad that we get to continue our relationship with this beautiful group of people in this very special community.
