I had a friend there and she was super “nice” but then went off with someone that was a “copycat” and they pretended like nothing happended. (She hated her) I moved to Lawrence it is a much better school than Marylin, Marylin was making me dumber rather than smarter.

It has become a STEAM "Magnet" school, gotten federal grants, and is even going through a huge renovation, with new parking lot, science/STEAM labs, and library. The management structure needs improvement and layers of different level leaders makes the school feel as everyone is their own sperate group rather than the school as whole as one big community. Head of School is disconnected from Teachers and parent input is not respected. Parent involvement and listening to the community is critical to the survival of the school. Teachers are the ones working hard without the support of Head of School or Directors. Too many Directors at the top level where a lot of the jobs can be streamlined to free up money for the classrooms. With hope that things will change in the future.
