My son had a wonderful social and academic experience at Ben Hulse. He had excellent teachers that helped him excel in all areas!

This school for all its PTO events and being in the affluent side of town is only a weak 6. Maybe once the district/school board gets rid of the “Good Ol’ Boys Club” and gets fresh blood and administrators who actually have education and training in the field this school will be restored to the 10 of its glory years (circa 2003).

Mr. Acosta, the 6th grade teacher is the best. He helped my son come out of his shell and become confident and get on the honor roll. He has affected our family's life in such a positive way. I can never repay all he's done for us!

McKinley is not a great school but an ok school. My child attended three years 3-5 grade and the first chance I had I transferred my child. Teachers are good but programs and holiday plays lack good structure. Ghetto neighborhood ghetto kids. Sorry but true...Sons bike was stolen and bullying. Soccer team is favortism and you have to wait practically two years to get into ASES (after school tutoring care).

This school is absolutely horrific! There are bullies everywhere! My kid got pushed into the mud by another kid and never got in trouble! These bullies are causing mental trauma to our children, teaching them to hit and push others, and it makes these kids not want to participate in any activities, the orchestra is too strict on the kids, my child got kicked out after taking a while to learn because he had adhd! And these teachers do nothing to motivate the students, they need to expell these bullies!

I would rate this school at five stars or more. This school has helped me improve because since there are such small classes, the teachers actually have the time and willingness to work out problems and the patience to sit down and go through any problems or questions about study guides or homework from the previous night or at least homework in general. Thank you Faith Academy: Mrs. Waters, Mrs. Darr, Mrs. Kathy, Mrs. Soledad, Mrs. Dudley, Mrs. Franklin, Mrs. Lorraine, and Mr. Manuel for giving me the love and help that I have been missing from my previous teachers. I most strongly thank all of you for teaching me about the Lord, our savior, and for helping me strengthen my testimony with him. Thank you for everything!!!Sincerely- Vivian Tillery
