I actually love this school with all my heart overall itsthe best
Posted by a parent on 11/18/2022This is my son's second year at maple I like tht his teacher is loving and above all a great mentor. I like maple but wish they could recognize students more with awards and recognition. I never hear about award assemblies most times I hear about fundraisers. I wish tht the staff was more friendly.

My 3rd greater has a teacher that lets kid roam the class when ever they want. Homework is a joke. And of course ever thing is now computers so why send my kids to school for a

I have went to the school after my girl wast touched by a boy in girls bathroom, then same kid told her after he will kill her, again student

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeen having issues with this school since the beginning of the year. My son was paired with a teacher on their first year of teaching that grade. Despite dozens of communications to them trying to assist my child since it was their first year in school since before COVID I was met with resistance every step of the way. Had a meeting with the administration in January and was told of our options moving forward which the teacher did not do. A majority of the work is apparently done on the computers, and goes way to fast for my child to keep up. I informed the staff that I can’t help him if the work doesn’t come home and their resolution was that they would print the work off the computer to come home. Teacher wasn’t printing off work and again, despite multiple phone calls I was ignored. Today with 28 days of school left, I’m told that a computer could come home and could always have come home. Yet this information wasn’t given to me when it would have been helpful (at the meeting at the beginning of the semester). Their communication is horrible, and they encourage their teachers not to communicate to the parents. Will be filing a complaint with the superintendent (again) because after taking the proper channels the school is continuing to fail my child in their education. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been attending Hollyvale for 3 years now. The Principals are great and care about their students. The teachers are great at communicating with parents. The school feels safe and is clean. I have 2 more children who will soon be going here and they can’t wait to be “Hollyvale Hawks”. I like the feel of community Hollyvale has if you become involved you see that they have a lot to offer both parent volunteers and students!
