Es una excelente escuela mis hijos estudiaron allí y todavía tengo a uno de ellos en la escuela y siempre estaré agradecida por el esfuerzo de los professors de todo el personal que trabaja allí.

This is my son first year and middle school and Zela Davis is amazing. The teachers are awesome and the principal is even better.

This is, without question, the worst-performing school in the district, and its reputation reflects years of poor leadership, ineffective instruction, and a complete failure to meet the needs of its students. Rather than continuing to operate in its current state, the school should be closed and replaced with a private institution capable of providing the quality education that families deserve. The administration demonstrates a profound lack of understanding of children's social, emotional, and academic needs. Instead of fostering a supportive, student-centered environment, leadership appears disconnected from the realities facing students and their families. Concerns are ignored, communication is inadequate, and meaningful improvements are consistently absent. The teaching staff is equally disappointing. Many educators appear to lack the training, resources, or motivation necessary to effectively support student growth and development. There is an urgent need for comprehensive restructuring, professional development, and accountability focused on child development, enrichment, and instructional excellence. Students are being shortchanged by a system that has accepted mediocrity as the norm. Even the Parent Teacher Association has failed to fulfill its intended purpose. Rather than operating as an independent voice for parents and families, it appears to be heavily influenced and effectively controlled by the school's administration. This undermines transparency, discourages genuine parent involvement, and defeats the very purpose of having a PTA in the first place. The school's extremely low state test scores are not surprising. They are the direct result of inadequate instructional support, ineffective leadership, and a persistent lack of educational accountability. Instead of addressing these systemic failures, the school continues to produce disappointing outcomes year after year with little evidence of meaningful progress. Families deserve far better than what this school currently provides. Without sweeping changes to its leadership, instructional practices, and organizational structure, there is little reason to expect improvement. As it stands, this school has failed its students, its families, and the community it is supposed to serve.

This school is a GEM. If you want a school were kids are LOVED motivated and included this is the place. You get what you put into the school.

Our family is deeply grateful to Anderson Elementary School and its incredible staff for the care, kindness, and support they have shown our children throughout the school year.This school goes far beyond academics. During a very difficult period when my wife was experiencing serious health challenges, the staff showed genuine compassion and humanity toward our family. Their concern for our children's well-being, their encouragement, and their willingness to help during challenging moments touched our hearts in ways we will never forget.The teachers have been exceptional, creating a positive learning environment where our children feel respected, supported, and motivated to succeed. Every member of the school community has treated us with kindness and professionalism.We are truly thankful for everything Anderson Elementary has done for our family. This school has very high standards and the principal, Ms Lino, is straight forwards, great leader and the teachers are dedicated, professional and demanding. It requires parents to get involved and it is a blessing that our daughter attends the school. Our second child is on his way to become a student there as well. Family values, academic excellence and high expectations.
