School overall was a bad experience I was a former student there a few years back (I’m now in college) only a few good teachers and usually you’d have to be look just to get them most teachers were very rude, kids would be getting arrested weekly, a lot of gangs, bullying was not handled well at all

Multiple bullies are seen around campus, judging people based on their personalities, relationships, and interests. Posted by a parent on 3/12/2024If you are friends with the principal you will be fine, but beyond that everyone is left on their own. All the great teachers left, and Pioneer has lost what made it great. I don’t know if it’s the district or site admin to blame but it’s a shame.
Posted by a community member on 1/4/2024The school is ran like a prison. Was definitely different 10 years ago. Never wanted our son to go there, but we had no choice. Had I known how things go there, I would’ve tried harder to get him into a different school district.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Western Christian from K-8th grade. This school is an amazing school that teaches kids things they could never get at any public school. The focus is on God and the Bible is included in every subject. The teachers are excellent and truly care about you and want you to succeed. The class sizes are small, so students get plenty of one-on-one help from the teacher. This is a school where you will find lifelong friendships, and learn important values and morals that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. This school isn't perfect, the only activity there really is is chorus and the academics can sometimes be a little challenging, but the good far outweighs the bad at Western Christian School.
