Fairgrove Elementary School

Coastal Christian School is truly a gem on the Central Coast. This school provides an education rooted in biblical values, nurturing both academic excellence and spiritual growth. The dedicated staff genuinely care about each student, going above and beyond to help them thrive in a supportive and close-knit community.With weekly chapel services, two annual retreats for secondary students, and daily biblical teachings, the school builds a strong foundation of faith. This equips students to lead with integrity, compassion, and a sense of purpose.The small class sizes and personalized attention make a significant impact on the quality of education. My children transitioned from local public school where they were falling behind, but CCS helped them not only catch up but excel beyond expectations. The school prepares students not just for academic success but for life beyond the classroom, instilling values that will guide them for years to come!

Overall there are better options. The school utilizes teachers who are new and uncredentialed which becomes problematic in the packed classrooms (30 plus students per teacher). They put on a great sales pitch to get people to sign up for the school and then provide teachers who cannot spell and are clearly overwhelmed. So you get to pay tuition for lower standards than public schools. If you want to pay $8,000+ a year because saying your child attends “private school” is important to you but don’t really care about their education then this is the school for you.
