Cornerstone Christian Schools

This school is amazing!! Stellar teachers that truly care and a community that backs them! Immense amount of parent involvement on top of small class sizes makes sure no kid is left behind and they’re getting an excellent education. We moved her last summer coming from a private school out of state. First, I look to the local private school, but wasn’t impressed. I then started hearing so many rave reviews about Cottage Hill I had my three kids district transferred here and am so glad I did! This school has a very kind, safe, welcoming atmosphere and my kids love it!! I hear so many great reviews but for some reason no one post reviews in this small community, so I think it’s time I give a positive shout out :) Thank you to all the staff and volunteers, we appreciate you!!

We have 2 kids at Arete in K and 2nd and they are thriving. The principal, teachers and staff are so supportive and flexible. Every time we’ve needed clarification or support, multiple avenues are available to meet our needs. There are multiple options for instruction, from 100% homeschooling to 2 day a week in person 9-12, to blended middle school program 3 days a week from 9-2. This year we have our 2nd grader in the new reading enrichment program, just one example of the continuous improvements being made in offerings to benefit the students. Arete offers tons of extracurricular classes both on and off campus, from cooking to archery and piano to arts and crafts. We have access to several thousand annual funds to allocate to our choice of approved curriculum and extra curriculars like gym classes and ski passes. There are lots of field trips offered throughout the year and many on campus mingling events to build community. We love our experience at Arete.
