At a Christian school, you would expect kindness, compassion, and genuine community to be at the center of everything. But instead, my sister has faced bullying, exclusion, and cruelty from students who are supposed to represent love and faith.My family chose this school because Christianity is a core part of our lives, and we believed she would be surrounded by peers who shared those values. Instead, she was met with the exact opposite; mockery, unkindness, and behavior that is the furthest thing from what God teaches.This isn’t about one student. This is a cultural problem, a failure in guidance and leadership. If a school claims to prioritize faith, then it should actively teach empathy, humility, and compassion and not allow hurtful behavior to go unchecked.Do better. Hold your students accountable. Teach them to live the values you preach, not just speak them.
