5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy 2 kids have both been to this school. When we first moved to Orange, I went with greatschool rating & moved my kids to a different school as Lampson’s was lower. We had a few late attendance (it was a bit farther & i work at night, come home to drive my dtr to school) so we never got accepted to the same school with a better rating & had no choice but to enroll my kids to Lampson where we are assigned. I have to tell you, I don’t really understand why they have this rating. They deserve so much more! Their environment is multi racial, everyone (principal down to office staff) is kind; & respects all culture. Both my kids have never experience bullying, except one time w/ my son, while in kindergarten, got bullied by 2 of his classmates & his K teacher saw them - let them talk & all 3 of them became bestfriends after. Not sure with the details as my son just told me this story when he was in 1st grade already. Shoutout to Mr. Rawalt. - I have witnessed his patience with kindergartners in person & especially during the sudden virtual schooling changes. He is one of my son’s favorite teacher & that is saying a lot from someone who doesn’t like school! Special credits to Ms. McCabe & Ms. Nicholson too! Virtual teaching and teaching in person at the same time takes a lot of patience and skill! Sadly, we are moving to a different county & we have to leave Lampson. But I would like to add this review so future parents out there deciding about their kid’s school, Lampson is an awesome school! My eldest (dtr) has spent her 1st-4th grade here & shy as she is to others, she tells me how she loves her teachers in various ways. Special credits to Ms Hoy (1st grade) , Ms. Gutierrez (3rd grade) - My dtr has truly enjoyed her class because of you & i’ve seen how genuinely you love your job & your kids; Ms. Nghiem (2nd) & Ms. Chaudri (4th) - thank you for teaching my dtr discipline - it helps us as parents too! Just know you all are appreciated & we hear it from our kids even though you may not hear it from them & us parents all the time! You all deserve a raise. :)Parent Review5y ago4 Reviews - Fremont Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is HORRIBLE first off. I'm in 8th grade this year and i have been here since kindergarten and I can say confidently everyone i know that are students are at a 3rd grade reading level, hell some of my friends who have been here since they were in kinder as well, they cant even read. they do not support people with disabilities, one of my autistic friends who went here a couple years ago didn't learn anything she was supposed to be learning. for example in sixth grade she was still doing first grade math, they did NOT try at all to help her bet at where everyone else was at. the school only harshly punishes people if they get called out on it, otherwise they will only get suspended, I got Sexually assaulted in sixth grade by this boy and they only suspended him without any further action at ALL and then they put me in detention because I shoved him away in self protection. they rarely do anything to actively protect students against violence, hell they don't even do anything when students fight each other its horrible. there is a huge bullying and racism problem at this school and they do NOTHING at all to stop it. I would never recommend this school to anyone, please choose a different school.Student Review1y ago13 Reviews - Wilson Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWilson provides a caring environment where each child's education is taken seriously. The expectations are high and each child is encouraged to do their best. Like any public institution, sometimes the process of qualifying students for extra help takes longer than we would like, but small groups and interventions are put in place meanwhile. The staff gets along well and works together to help the student population. There is a one star review mentioning a principal that is long gone. The current principal is caring and puts each child's best interests first. The school rules are be safe, respectful, and responsible. The PBIS program provides detailed steps for how this works at each level. Routine assemblies reward children for behavioral and academic objectives met. There is also a priority put on rewarding students who may be behind but are making progress. The office staff is caring and competent. The biggest compliment I can give is that I would feel comfortable if my own child was going to this school.Teacher Review4y ago3 Reviews - Lydia Romero-Cruz Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been taking my daughter to this school from 2007 , When she started kindergarten . And now my son started year 2019 . It has been 18 years to know this school and not things change. The problem are always traffic and on the street vs to the school drive way . It has been 18 years , which not things change and school very dated and traffic. Even they have change many principal and administrators . And now they hanged up the sign for no turn on left from 7am to 3pm . That cost more problem for parents when they drop off the kids and go to work . No left turn inthe morning to noon and the police are always waiting hide in the corner and come out to give you the ticket for violated .When the school don’t make any solutions to solving the problems and they mean cost more trouble for everyone . Life has been hard and more problems . Do we have a right and peaceful my in the morning to take the kids to schools and work or we keep fighting with the traffic and ticket s . What’s ashamed.I’m stuck with the school zone and can t move my kid . Unless I have to move my house to different place .Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey claim to have invested a lot of resources to keeping students safe, however my child was involved in two bullying incidents within the same week and all they had to say was “good thing you weren’t hurt badly”. There should be no reason another student bites the ear of another student.Parent Review3y ago3 Reviews - Earl Warren Elementary School
