Most horrible school I seen needs to be shut down

My kids go to this school , teachers from our experience are great. But bullying is a huge problem , especially for minority families. Sadly there is no real disiplinary action taken against disruptive and rude children. From what I have seen and heard kids are allowed to use profanity and be extremely vulgar right on campus.

There were quite a few times I wanted to talk to the principal for a few minutes, but she was always so busy and was told I had to make an appointment. I had even went to the teacher and the principal regarding my child's falling grades and was told there are no supports that the school could offer to help my child further along in my child's education. This school had a terrific coach of almost 20 years. The principal fired him and never gave students the opportunity to say goodbye to him as alot of students and parents were close to him. Since then, the sports programs have gotten worse in planning and coordinating. The principal has done a terrible job including parents this year in school affairs. So many events have been poorly planned this year. Test scores, and academics are down horribly. The only thing that makes this school great is the teachers and office administration, they are wonderful. They do so much for the students and parents. Lincoln Elementary needs a new principal.

I really use to love this school because the teachers here are amazing. But recently, I had an encounter with the principal, due to the fact that I showed really late to pick up my child because of an appointment that had lasted longer than expected. The principal who lacked very little compassion degraded me and as well my daughter. Telling me that if it ever happens again she can no longer attend the school and would need to be transferred. And saying to my daughter "I'm not your babysitter and it shouldn't be my responsibility to look after you". It made me feel unwanted it made my daughter feel unwanted. My daughter has been at this school since kindergarten and it was just last year that we moved out of the district and instead of disrupting her learning and putting her into a new school with new faces I gave her the option whether or not she wanted to stay at this school. And I guess we chose wrong. In my personal opinion the principal brought to work home related issues broke her professionality and the safeguard of my child just to relieve the stress she has in her own life. I understood my mistakes but it should have never been taken out on my daughter. Most importantly once you move out of their district you are no longer part of the community.
