This is a great school, with an extremely dedicated staff. My son loved this school more than any school he'd ever attended before. One of the things I love is that so many of the teachers keep up-to-date websites, detailing homework assignments, current events, etc. His Language Arts and math teach

I love the climate when I walk into the office. The students seem happy and excited about being there. The office staff always greets me with warm smiling faces, as they do to the students who enter.

state budget cuts have hurt all CA schools but this one still performs well for our kids

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageObviously Sue isn't too familiar with DANA GRAY ELEMENTARY anyone with a brain would know how to spell it since they are going to complain about it I saw nothing wrong with the school when my child attended there for 3 yrs maybe you should OPEN your eye's as for the PTA not having any involvement in getting it upgraded IT'S NOT THEIR DEPARTMENT!!! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to Kindergarten her (his teacher was Mrs. Douglas) and it was wonderful. Mrs. Douglas is wonderful! Everyone was kind, nurturing, supportive and amazing. The Parents club was (is) wonderful, and always had the children's best interest at heart. Mrs. Champagne is the best principal I could have imagined, so involved, excited, loving and caring. The emphasis on healthy children was wonderful.
