J. E. Hester Elementary School

To me this school was like my second home. The sports programs were possibly the best thing about this school. the academics were on top of the charts and they would always make sure that the students got the help they needed. because of that school i got into University Prep. High School.

This school has staff who really care about the children but are either unable or ill equipped to teach the populous masses the social skills they need to overcome their horrible tendancies to group bully on focused children. The staff lost my respect when they attempted to sabatoge my efforts to bring a birthday party to my son's 2nd grade classroom. The school lost the privilege of instructing my son academically when his teacher was able to give me a full detailed account of in class bullying which led up to my son losing his cool. The staff did not like dealing with my complaints about another child repeatedly threatening my son's life. If yoy don't want your child to turn into a bully or a victim, do not send them to this school.

Unfortunately, all of my children had poor experiences in this school, for different reasons. The staff seems more interested in their politics than actual teaching. The office staff and “aides” are unqualified.
