We moved here my daughters sophomore year and as parents we were concerned about the usual, bullying, academics and general happiness of our daughter. We have been very pleased. Our son is just starting his Sophomore year. After going to 13 -yes 13- different high schools myself, I must say, Union Mine is an absolute joy! They are extremely student focused. The block schedule is amazing. Special "D-back" days allow kids to either make up missed work or enjoy extra-curricula

Union Mine is a clean, safe school. Everyone is accepting of everyone and it is located in a small country town. Its very new and the staff is great with interacting and teaching. Our sports programs have grown tremendously and our band program, which i am in, has grown and become one of the better
