Parents are doing their best to form part of their child's education. There's too much favoritism going on in the parent center. It is not the same

Every staff if engaging and friendly to students and parents. I had my first interaction with the principal and I was treated with disrespect and unkindness. My child is dealing with a difficult situation and she showed zero empathy in comparison to all other staff. This school has gone through different principals in the past 3-4 years. Not sure on the reasons why, but this is the first time I’ve had a very negative experience with any principal. When my older child was in third grade, Ms. Song worked closely with me as she guided me in helping my child at home. She didn’t hesitate to communicate with me regularly in regards to my daughter’s academics and provided me with ways to support my child. And even now, as she’s working out of the classroom, I continue to ask for her guidance in helping my child. I am please to say, I have seen significant progress with my daughter’s reading and I know Ms. Song had great impact in her learning.
