Read what parents are saying about Estancia High SchoolMy granddaughter is going on her 2nd year at Estancia and I have to say I am glad we are at this school. The teachers are amazing, they make learning exciting. My granddaughter got an A in history and she hates history. Mrs. Lee has made the class so fun. She is completely engulfed with astronomy and so excited about it due to Mr. Cleppy! As far as mental health goes I couldn't ask for a more supportive team of people from teachers to counselors to principal. Truly very grateful for all of the support. I almost forgot to mention drama production! Wonderful teacher, Ms. Marroqiun! The students have a great connection , I believe due to the exercises and encouragement from their teacher. The big negative is the amount of fights that occur here. It can be traumatizing to see an actual physical fight, it IS traumatizing. This needs to be addressed. All in all, I think it's a great school with great teachers and amazing staff.
Posted by a parent on 10/31/2023To be very frank with you, this year there has been barely any bullying. The small school environment is easy to navigate and fit into. Even in my freshmen year, I’m already told college expectations and how to achieve various goals. I do believe I am set on a steady path.
Posted by a student on 10/28/2022I have never have liked this school in the past years I've been here
Posted by a community member on 3/15/2018Shhhh....don't tell anyone, but this little school is our city's best kept secret. 1200 kids, best principal , dedicated and caring teachers, students that want to succeed. We've been so thrilled with our students' educations through EHS!
Posted by a parent on 4/8/2015I enjoy the small, indoor school, where I have had 100% support from teachers and staff regarding my child. 8-10 years ago I would have never thought of putting my children here, but over the years, Estancia has improved tenfold. We moved back into the district so that my younger child can attend Estancia.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCurrently I am student in the high school and this place is a joke. We spend all our time in class talking about race, sexuality, social justice, and the environment. It is a little funny because for the most part the student body and faculty are either a bunch of rich white kids or kids of parents who work at the school. Not much diversity here! Because half the kids parents work here there is a lot of favoritism and drama. Not only do the faculty and admin all talk dirt about each other but their kids know everything that's going on. If you look closely most of the administration and faculty are either parents or were parents of kids who went here. They are not educators. Most of the kids have been here for since kindergarten and most of these kids have some pretty serious social and emotional issues. That doesn't speak well for the lower school! Think twice before sending your kids here and if your kids is in the lower school do him/her a favor and get them out before it's too late.Parent Review1y ago - PAGE PRIVATE SCHOOL

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlso had an initial reception that was very warm, just like another reviewer. So we went through the long application process, even attending their Family Preview Day — which turned out to be an event where everyone was dressed to showcase their wealth. The teachers we met were mostly newbies. After the assessment, there was an odd delay they vaguely communicated. Even though my child has been testing at two grade levels above her own, we were ultimately cut. Someone must’ve been greasing the wheels somewhere.Parent Review1mo ago - Christ Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChrist Lutheran has a strong sense of family and faith based Community. The teachers truly care about their students and their success. School leadership is always willing to help out in anyway needed. My kids always feel challenged in their work and are learning and growing at a high level.Parent Review4mo ago - Page Private School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is phenomenal. My kids have been at this school since they first opened. I have a 10th grader and middle schooler. Besides the rigorous academics and languages, the teachers & staff are the reasons we stay. RSI is a very loving environment - full of wonderful families and good kids. RSI has plenty of opportunities for parents to stay involved, which is key. They offer great enrichment after-school classes, such as coding lessons, legos/robotics, cultural dancing, music instruments, and a variety of sports and outdoor fun. The school plans overseas trips where kids can be fully immersed in the culture and language. They typically pick a Spanish or Chinese speaking country and are nicely organized. This year my high schooler (and many other HS/middle schoolers) received 2 global seals of fluency - in Spanish and Chinese and the HS will get to study in Spain for a month while they complete their dual enrollment college classes. The class sizes are pretty small so that teachers can give students the individualized attention to help them stay ahead, which is great bc they are learning very deep advanced material. If any students need extra help in the subject the school will offer tutoring. My kids attended an Irvine public school for a year and felt the material was not challenging enough, including the advanced math classes, so we decided to come back to keep them challenged. Overall, we are very happy at RSI. My kids are thriving and so happy at this school.Parent Review1y ago - The Childs-Pace Foundation Inc.
