Posted by a community member on 12/30/2010This was a pretty good school. I was a student a few years back and I remember that the teachers were great and the counselor was too. Although at the time I didn't think so but most students don't appreciate anything until it's over. At the time I didn't think that the counselor was helping me in my situation at all but now I know that she really did try to help me. :]

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderland Angels Academy, she was doing great. She could read & do math well. They were teaching her how to sound out each letter and all the different vowel sound. They taught her to count(she went there form 2yrs to Pre-K4yrs) They had a good relationship with all the children and their parents. If the child was having difficulty they would show the parents what and how they are teaching. I LOVE THE SCHOOL WISH I COULD FIND SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR GRADES 1-5. THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS THE PRINCIPAL IS TO MONEY HUNGRY AND NOT FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS.Parent Review11y ago - Mandela Childrens Learning Village

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMandela Children's Learning Village is a place where students are transformed into scholars. They encourage children to use their critical thinking skills through a lens of embracing self-awareness, confidence, resilience, collaboration, and exploration. My son has developed a passion for learning and exploring all content areas with excitement. The teacher-to-student ratio is unique and allows for differentiated instruction to take place in the effort to advance student achievement. Lessons, projects, and extracurricular activities are student-centered and culturally relevant, which makes learning an enjoyable experience for all. My child enjoys attending MCLV as they are committed to positively progressing him year after year. We are pleased with the school and would recommend MCLV to anyone looking for a dedicated and supportive school family.Parent Review1y ago - St Albert The Great Middle School

It is our belief that Music Education is a Powerful Tool for a Child's development and current research confirms that music training stimulates a whole network of brain areas, and that musical activity draws on nearly every region of the brain. We believe that music education speeds the development of speech and reading skills, trains children to focus their attention for sustained periods, and helps them to develop empathy and emotional intelligence. The use of new technologies in neuroscience over the last decade has given researchers a better understanding of exactly what happens inside the brain when it process music, and how this actively contriutes to better learning and functioning. we are now Enrolling: Call: 310 638 6319 for more informationTeacher Review9y ago - St. Albert The Great Elementary School
