Posted by a parent on 2/1/2013i went to this school from K-7 and i was bully everyday i went there. this school was bad. my 7th grade teacher hated me for no reason. i lost hope iin everything in my life. in my opinion this school sucks. i hated when i went there and istill hate now.
Posted by a community member on 1/28/2013My two children attend Lichen. The best thing about Lichen are the teachers and there music program. My children are now in 7 and 8th grade, I did not want them to go to Syvan. I've heard such bad things about them. I here there are a lot of drugs and disapline problems. I prefer my children be safe

We love that it is academically rigorous, but still a safe and nurturing environment. In our experience, teachers have gone above and beyond to provide unique and effective learning experiences for the students. We also have found the overall culture of the school to be welcoming and warm, with families really getting to know one another over the course of their time at St. Albans. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school seems like it would be a nice, good private school to send your kids to but it is not. although they do a good a job at teaching gospel, they are not good at teaching anything else if a student asks for help or says they don’t understand something they are told “you should’ve listened” or they’ll say they’re too busy to help, they don’t accommodate students with learning disabilities even students with a 504 plan, and the teachers make students feel bad for learning slower than other students. when i went there they put the wrong class on my schedule and when i went to change it they blamed me for it. in general this is just not a good school i would highly recommend NOT sending your kids here.Other Review3y ago
