St. Mel is an amazing school. The secret to a great school system is how the community works. That is exactly what I think about St. Mel’s is how the community works to reinforce faith and education. The staff is amazing. Parents have a voice. Budget and facilities are ran well. Great job!

Both of our children attended St. Mark's from PreK through 8th grade. The faculty and staff at St. Mark's are wonderful. Their love of Jesus is reflected in the way they love their students. As a small school, the individualized attention pays incredible dividends, as both of our children were more than prepared for success in high school and beyond. More importantly, our children were taught daily about the love Jesus has for them, both through a curriculum that emphasizes a Christian world view and traditional values as well as through the example their teachers, staff, coaches and families act. St. Mark's truly functions as a family environment and a close community who support each other. It is also important to know that educational emphasis is placed on the traditional and foundational educational topics, whereas some programs around the area either choose or are compelled to spend a lot of resource on topics that often seem to be more political than educational. Finally, St. Mark's still has extra curricular programs for the students like athletics and fine arts, as these provide so much learning opportunity beyond the classroom experience.

We began at this school when my child was in third grade during COVID, and our experience has been overwhelming positive. The school provides excellent communication, ensuring parents are consistently informed and engaged. Families are encouraged to participate through volunteer commitments, which create meaningful opportunities to be involved in school activities and build connections with other parents. This school maintains high expectations for student behavior and accountability, while also celebrating academic achievements and school sports. I also appreciate the school's dress code, which promotes a neat appearance and reinforces standards that can sometimes feel lost in today's society. Overall, this school fosters a strong foundation of kindness, respect, responsibility, and self-confidence in it's students.
