This school was a life saver. We lost everything including my children's school in the Campfire in Paradise, CA. Everyone from the staff, to the PTO, to the children and their parents welcomed us with open arms. I cannot say enough good things about this school.

This school was a great place for our student to learn, most of the teachers are very good at what they do and the principal is very helpful and does her best. There were a couple of teachers there that probably should not be teaching children, but they do not speak for the school as a whole. Rampant bullying in my child’s year, when picking up my student I saw to students fighting against the fence and no one doing anything about it. (I was in my vehicle and unable to stop). Several students were bullied often and the school tried its best from an administration standpoint but not all of the classes are well managed.

As part of the GRUB-Education team, we shared our teaching kitchen with many of the students. They were attentive, assertive, worked well with each other and seemed to have enjoyed learning. Loved the experience.Rosemary Febbo

I cannot say enough good things about this school. My daughter attended CORE Butte High School all 4 years of High School. We were able to customize her classes to work with her learning style and her schedule to work with her Dance training schedule. The teachers she had were wonderful. My daughter gained a love of learning at this school! The principal is so great and knows the kids by name! I could not have asked for a better High School experience for my daughter! She absolutely loved CORE Butte High School!

My son has really enjoyed his 3 years at Sherwood. His teacher, Sheng (same for 3 years) has been wonderful. It's a small, caring, community and my son looks forward to school each day. Traditional school models are not a good fit for him, and he enjoys the work at your own pace Montessori method. He is able to quickly do his work then earn free time and help others.
