Posted by a parent on 9/26/2013Coming from Private School, I really did not know what to expect from a LAUSD School...I can say that I am pleasantly pleased with Towne Ave. School. From the office staff to the teaching staff, I am very pleased!!
Posted by a parent on 9/20/2013i LOVE THIS sCHOOL my older children went there in the past, then we moved away. Now we are back and I have a four year old in pre-k who I am happy to have going to Towne Ave Elementary =) Looking forward to kinder next year

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had nothing but bad experiences at this school. One of them being,another student and I getting into a slight arguement.This led into him antagonizing me to the point I defended myself.NOT JUSTIFYING MY ACTIONS.The boy called his mom and she showed up.The principal incerted herself Claiming that I was the problem,which was false.She did not know what the situation was and let the boys parent persuade her opinion. Making me apologize in front of the whole school.This is an example of there lack of professional.
