So far, the school has exceeded my expectations. My daughter is thriving both in class and through extra-curricular activities. We’ve found amazing teachers, coaches and mentors as well as as a community of school spirit. My only complaint is traffic !

The school is in a very beautiful location and is an excellent school. I highly recommend to all parents who want their children to have a quality 4 year high school education.

over all a pretty good school. Bullying is a issue for me and teachers don't really do much about it. Unfortunately there is a lot of transphobia when it comes to students. Once again teachers turn a blind eye and ignore it. The teachers overall are great but its very hard to get your pronouns changed on your papers. There isn't a lot of wiggle room for students with different learning needs and teachers don't take kid's ADHD into account. a lot of, don't doodle in class, put that toy away its distracting etc. As with most schools the system is very outdated. Covid safety wise it'd say its decent. bathrooms as always still never have enough soap but hand sanitizer is easy to find around the campus. Bathrooms are fairly clean but not always. Teachers are nice and understanding and some are very LGBTQIA+ inclusive. There is a lot of action needed to be taken against bullying and students need to feel safe. Classes are fairly interesting and id say you definitely learn. There is a lot of insensitivity and teachers are pushing a lot of kids to their breaking points. Action needs to be taken. kids are not the ones failing, the school system is failing us and i wish something will be done. Students should not put their work before their mental and physical health. Students should not come home feeling useless and like a failure and cry everyday. I have nothing against this school and its decent but i think schools as a whole need to make changes Id also like to add that dress codes are extremely unfair, male students will wear tank tops with their nipples practically showing and be just fine while female and other students will show shoulders or a stomach and get their whole day disrupted. This needs to changeInclusivity towards students who are not on the spectrum of male and female needs to be added as well. Assumptions are harmful

My son transferred from Freedom after some major bullying issues. He thrived at Heritage. His grades weren't the best as he had to learn due dates on assignments matter. However, he was engaged. He learned. If he had a problem his counselor was there for him. Not just for academic support, but emotional as well.

Though Heritage High has flaws, those flaws can easily be overlooked. The teachers are great, for the most part. Everyone complains of the lazy teachers only here for the paycheck, when that's a very small amount. And they also complain that they don't slow down, when you shouldn't have your hand held at this age, unless you have special needs. Get use to it. This is life, because once your time with high school is done, it's off to college. The principal is great, but the student leadership could use a little work. The school is VERY spirited. I'm in the band program, when I go to the Varsity Football games to play music, and many of the students have a blast, and respectful of those who get hurt. Speaking of, I'm yet to see a single bully in this school. Maybe I'm just doing a great job of blending in (which is what you should do), or the school deals with bullies greatly. The school resource officer is great at his job, and very friendly. And, the school is clean. Heck, even the bathrooms look nice. All vandalism is cleaned right away and trash is picked up daily. And students here are, yes, very spoiled. But, none are real jerks. I was welcomed here by many, I've made great new friends, and rekindled old friendships. I'm a freshman of this school, and this has been the best of year of school I've ever had.
