Heritage High School

Our experience at Diablo vista elementary school has been nothing short of amazing! The teachers are incredibly dedicated, caring, and truly invested in each child's growth. The school provides a supportive and fun learning environment that helped our child thrive academically and socially. From student council to sports and even opportunities to explore music, our child had the best foundation here. We're so grateful for the memories and the strong start this school gave our family!

Could not have asked for a better place for my kids to grow up at. Everyone from the teachers to the custodians are genuinely kind, care about the kids, and are enthusiastic about learning and growing. My kids came out of there so prepared for middle school.

I'm a parent who has sent three children through Loma Vista, and I have continually been impressed with the teachers at every level, and Mrs. Croy does an amazing job as principal. We feel that learning is prioritized, diversity is actually celebrated (not just in name but in experiences, committees, international nights, etc), and my kids have all been excited to go to school. Every employee from the crossing guards to the administration REALLY cares about our kids. I love how the school does their best to keep families with the same teachers even years later, and we have been so happy with our experience.

The school has been great and welcoming. I love that they are inclusive and celebrate all children. The school is gated and feels safe. The teachers are always pleasant and helpful. The parents and students seem kind and respectful to one another. They always have fun events. The principal and staff are amazing! I am sad that next year will be my sons last year at Ron Nunn. I can only hope that his next school is as great as this one.

I will agree with another reviewer about the teachers treating the kids with zero respect. When I use to volunteer in the classroom I couldn't believe some of the smart ellic comments teachers would make to kids. It always made me feel so bad for the kids. I definitely think teachers need a FEW days of training on what to say/not say to kids. Of course if you volunteer ALL your time and open your pocket book the teachers will love your kids and be kind to them.

My child has attended K and 1st grade. Excellent teachers and extracurricular activities. The one big negative is there are way too many students at this school and dropping and picking up your child can be stressful. Great principal of two years just left as well.

GHCS is an amazing school. We are grateful for what they do for the kids. Because of the smaller size, the staff, students and parents are close like a family. They build the foundation we hoped the kids would gain attending a Christian based private school. The tuition is affordable and well worth it. The mandatory uniform lets the students focus on equality and focus more on their education. The amount of discipline and zero tolerance for violence and bullying is by far my favorite about this school, and the exact reason why we avoided attending a public middle school. Thank you GHCS for all you do.
