While the teachers say they want to work with you and do respond in a somewhat timely manner, if you find out your child is struggling the teacher he had said she was going to compile a list for us to work on and then told my son in class to work on one subject at a time instead of

I can't speak for the general education segment of the school, as it is a very high poverty area and probably has all of the issues poorer schools have. But within the GATE program, it's state of the art.
