I was a student at this school, and I reported that I was being bullied and threatened to be beaten up by two other students to the front desk who dismissed me and only said, "Come back on Monday."Long story short, I was jumped on my way back home after the bus dropped me off and luckily two boys helped me get home.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HORRIBLE SCHOOL!! My mother had me homeschooled iimmediately after this incident. Overworked teachers or not, you must ALWAYS help a student, especially if that child is being threatened to be beaten up by other students. My bullies were never held accountable and were dismissed too.It is a shame and gave me serious trust issues with every single public school or education out in the world.

Rock creek elementary school is a amazing school, teacher's and staff are amazing i'm so happy with the school and my kids the love the school Rock creek elementary school is a Gold because they have a lots opportunities and activities for our kids.

I have never been more disappointed in a school. The staff, the communication, and the safety of its students are all abhorrent. It seems like their bullying program favors the bully not the student being bullied. They rarely meet for 504 plans and good luck getting them to actually honor it. The standard of education in the classrooms is nonexistent. If you get a teacher who cares its great. If not forget about it. I could go on about specifics for days but I will leave it simple. Avoid this school.

Many of the teachers are excellent, but the administration’s priorities are concerning. The principal that is the superintendent focus on test scores and fundraising rather than student well-being. Parents who raise concerns often feel ignored or dismissed, unless they have financial influence. Families seeking a school that truly supports children’s learning may find this environment frustrating.I highly suggest seeking elsewhere.

I have two children at SJCS, and although no school is perfect, we are very thankful that our kids are attending here. While our local public schools are dealing with multiple issues, we are grateful to have a school where my kids are safe, happy, and thriving. I’ve been told from outside tutors that the SJCS curriculum is top notch and that a lot of students graduate almost a grade above their public school peers. I feel that the staff really does care about every student. Parents who want to be involved will find an open community and plenty of opportunities.
