Burbank (Luther) Elementary School

Recently graduated from olf and it’s safe to say this place wasn’t the best in my most recent years here. Over time, the teachers they hired gave students a hard time. My class got yelled at a lot for doing small things, and few teachers overreacted about any action we did. I was also tutoring people in my class because teachers did a horrible job at it. Parents do get involved in situations like these, and it’s rare the principal takes action for it. 8th grade gets privileges because it’s their last year there, but my class was revoked of them because the principal didn’t bother trying to look at our ideas. Not to mention, there is favoritism in the extracurriculars. Some people had their parents pay to become a lead in the musical. Parents that made the most effort in supporting their school were able to “buy” privileges for their children. The older teachers would have been much better than the teachers I graduated with. Most teachers I had during my last year did yelling instead of teaching because of how impatient they were with the students. Please don’t send your middle schooler here. My experience was not pleasing.

You won't find another school as good as Valley. We had to move out-of-state, and I can say for sure there is no place like Valley. The academics are amazing, the love and kindness can't be beat, the super smart and fun teachers are the heartbeat of the school and the leadership is responsible and caring taking the best interest in the kids. The community is so great too! If you are in the area, there is no place else your kids should be!
