My son and daughter are in the 2nd and 3rd grade. They transferred from another elementary school in Antioch last year. They were bullied and ignored by their previous school /staff but John Muir elementary proved to be a wonderful school. The teachers truly care and works with the parents. My child

Some teachers are helpful and involved with the kids but they lack to provide that help to the kids that need it the most if you do not have the economic resources to hire a private tutor your child will fall behind. Kids that need specialized help dont receive

He has had a hard time transitioning into 1st grade and the school year just started. She has taken the time to communicate with me her concerns and spent quality time everyday helping him. She has a classroom full of students, yet she still finds the time to have a one-on-one connection with my son.
