Pasadena Waldorf High School

I absolutely love this school! My daughter goes here now. Im sad because the school doesn't go past the 2nd grade. My child is 6 and she is on a 4th grade level. I wish this school went all through elementary school or even middle school. The teachers there are so nice and understanding. Each child learn on their own level. They are all not forced to be on the same level which is great i recommend this school for all kids from preschool (age 3) to 2nd grade. The only downfall is after 2nd grade it is hard finding another school that fits into this learning style. Exiting this school your child will be on such a high level. Don't let the look of the school fool you this is definitely the best school in pasadena. And the tuition is cheap. Way cheaper than most preschool and other private elementary schools.

The education is well rounded, academic, progressive and holistic. I treasure the relationship I have with my children’s teachers, they care so deeply about their students, unlike anywhere I’ve experienced. My children are excited to attend school and never want to miss a day.

Our family feels fortunate to be a part of this amazing community. We chose Saint Mark's because they strike a special balance between social and emotional learning and academic rigor while truly honoring childhood through all the various enrichment opportunities and activities. Relationships are fostered and cultivated in an intentional manner so you easily witness and feel kindness and respect between students, teachers, other staff and parents. There are several opportunities to get plugged into the community! So the connections feel real and deeper. The leadership has really proven to be committed to the school and go above and beyond especially in light of the year we have had with the fires. The teachers have also gone through great lengths to ensure that our kids feel safe, secure, and connected. The ratios of teachers-to-students allows for each student to feel that they are receiving full attention and care when it comes to their learning. We are immensely grateful that our two children are truly excited to go to school each day and continue to grow in their confidence, empathy, curiosity, and kindness.

One of the most wonderful Armenian private schools in California! The teachers are very educated and are great with the children. They know how to make them love learning and feel safe at the same time. The class sizes are small, so it's like the teacher is your private tutor.The principal, Mrs Maral, is great and very understanding.

Pasadena Christian School has been a wonderful preschool experience for both of our daughters. The teachers are caring, attentive, and skilled at supporting both the social-emotional and early academic development of young children.We’ve seen meaningful growth in our daughters' confidence, communication, and readiness for the next stage of learning. The classroom environment is nurturing, while still providing appropriate structure and routine.Parent communication is clear and consistent, and we’ve always felt that our children are safe and well cared for. The school fosters a strong sense of community and partnership with families.We would confidently recommend this school to other parents seeking a well-rounded, supportive preschool environment.
